A wine to fall in love with.
Ageing: 4 months in a cask.
Grapevine: Malbec / Merlot.
Tasting Note: Cherry red covered with raspberry hues. Its scent is expressive, highlighting black fruit such as blackberries, plums, lilium flowers, red peppers, and a background of blackberry jam. It is fresh, medium bodied on the palate, with a soft mineral taste, nice tannins, and there is a long aftertaste on the palate.
It pairs with pastas with beef, osso buco, some beef, pork, and lamb stews, as well as Peruvian Creole food such as arroz con pato [rice with duck], seco de res [beef], and cabrito a la norteña [northern–style kid goat].
